What we build

Moonshot Labs is the working name for the independent software projects of a single developer. The focus is deliberately narrow: small, fast, dependency-light web applications, and the private server infrastructure that hosts them.

Everything runs on hardware we own and administer directly in Ohio — no third-party platform, no customer data held on our behalf.

Messaging Program

Infrastructure alerts by SMS

Moonshot Labs operates an internal notification service that sends automated operational text messages about our own private servers — for example, that a scheduled backup finished, that a backup failed and needs attention, or that a long-running maintenance job has completed.

These messages are strictly internal and transactional. They are delivered only to the mobile number of the operator who owns and administers the systems being monitored. We do not send marketing messages, we do not message customers or third parties, and we do not collect, purchase, share, or sell phone numbers.

Recipients

The system operator only. No third-party or customer recipients.

How to opt in

The operator enters their own mobile number directly into the notification service's configuration file on their own server. There is no public sign-up form and no other route to enrolment.

Message frequency

Event-driven and low volume — typically a few messages per week.

How to opt out

Reply STOP to any message to stop all further messages.

Reply HELP to any message for program information.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply. Moonshot Labs charges nothing for these alerts.

Privacy

The single enrolled mobile number is stored only in the service's own configuration on privately operated hardware. It is never shared with, sold to, or disclosed to any third party, except as required to transmit the message through our messaging carrier.
