Independent Software Workshop
A one-person studio building small, well-made web applications and the self-hosted infrastructure that runs them.
About
Moonshot Labs is the working name for the independent software projects of a single developer. The focus is deliberately narrow: small, fast, dependency-light web applications, and the private server infrastructure that hosts them.
Everything runs on hardware we own and administer directly in Ohio — no third-party platform, no customer data held on our behalf.
A shared grocery and errand list built as an installable progressive web app, with cloud sync across devices.
A browser-based text adventure engine driven entirely by portable JSON world files.
Self-hosted media, automation, backup and monitoring services running on privately operated servers.
Messaging Program
Moonshot Labs operates an internal notification service that sends automated operational text messages about our own private servers — for example, that a scheduled backup finished, that a backup failed and needs attention, or that a long-running maintenance job has completed.
These messages are strictly internal and transactional. They are delivered only to the mobile number of the operator who owns and administers the systems being monitored. We do not send marketing messages, we do not message customers or third parties, and we do not collect, purchase, share, or sell phone numbers.
Full consent details are set out in the Messaging Program & Consent document, alongside our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
