Who we are

Moonshot Labs is the trading name of Brent Owen McDorman, a sole proprietor based in Ohio, United States, running an independent, one-person software workshop. He builds small web applications and operates the privately owned server infrastructure that hosts them. All systems referred to in this policy run on hardware owned and administered directly by him.

He is the data controller for the purposes of this policy and can be reached at contact@moonshotlab.xyz.

Text message program

Moonshot Labs operates an internal SMS notification service that sends automated operational alerts about its own servers. Full details are set out in the Messaging Program & Consent document.

What is collected

A single mobile telephone number — that of the operator who owns and administers the systems being monitored. No other personal information is collected in connection with the messaging program.

How it is stored

The number is stored in a configuration file on a private server controlled by Moonshot Labs. Message records — the recipient, the message text, delivery status, and timestamps — are held in a local database on that same server for operational troubleshooting.

Who it is shared with

The number is never sold, rented, traded, or shared for marketing purposes, by anyone, under any circumstances. It is disclosed only to the licensed messaging carrier that transmits the message, which is technically necessary for delivery. Mobile information is not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Retention

Message records are retained only as long as they are operationally useful and may be deleted at any time. The stored number is removed immediately when it is taken out of the service configuration.

Websites and applications

This website serves static pages. It sets no advertising cookies, runs no third-party analytics or tracking scripts, and builds no visitor profiles. Standard web server logs may record IP addresses and requested URLs for security and diagnostic purposes.

Moonshot Labs applications that require an account store only what is needed to operate the application for the person using it. That data is not sold and is not used for advertising.
